          As a citizen I believe that we all should have access to any part of the government, because we are the government. My primary goal is to keep the people in my district advised on all issues at the county board level.  Something that has not previously been done. 

• I will work to increase public participation which will make it possible for the citizens to know what their government officials are doing.

• I will work to end salary increases for board members for any year that the county raises taxes.

• I will work to make the county more energy smart-current buildings and new construction should be required to incorporate efficient environmentally friendly souurces of energy.  All county vehicles should be energy efficient.

• I will work to take money we are using for new road systems, and use it to update our mass transportation system and bicycle and walking paths.  All citizens should be considered when our roads are designed and changed.

Working with citizens, businesses and community groups we have a chance for a "New Beginning"
