Resident disgusted with attitude of Patrick Durante's letter

CLARENDON HILLS ... I read Patrick Durante's ridiculous and condescending Jan. 4 letter and am truly ashamed he is a member of my political party. His attitude brings to the table of just what is wrong with the Republican Party. The name calling, false insinuations and genuine lack of vision and concern is very apparent in this smear. It took a "real intellectual" to come up with this coined name this individual concocted. It smacks of the dribble one hears from Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Need one say anything more?

I have known Joe Vosicky since the sixth grade in the Hinsdale school system. He is not a knee-jerk individual. He believed that there were and still are abuses in the election process that need to be addressed and corrected. The DuPage Election Commission needs to look at their procedures and reassess how they do their business.

I believe Mr. Durante owes an apology to Mr. Vosicky for this unfair and juvenile behavior. To call this decent, honest and caring individual names shows his immaturity.

Incidentally, I believe Mr. Durante was Mr. Robeletti's campaign manager. ... Bill Schweitzer
