Hi Folks,

 

I am a moderator of a Yahoo group named DuPage Democrats 2008 (it used to be called DuPage Kerry.) On or around June 20th two group members (Cathy Campo and Kevin Lindeman) made a post on DuPage Democrats 2008 expressing the sentiments described in the Daily Herald's Saturday Soapbox about the Jeff Zurawski protest.

As many of you know that are members of Yahoo groups, you can get a daily digest of the posts made to the group. The daily digest comes as a e-mail under the group name. Apparently there is a Daily Herald reporter among the 256 members of the group.

 

Needless to say it is bad journalism and extremely irresponsible to take an individuals opinions and label it as the views of all DuPage Democrats.   

 

I have called the Daily Herald and left a message for David Beery of their Editorial Board to request that he print a retraction/apology.
