NOTICE TO ALL TOWNSHIP DELEGATES AND ALL VOTING MEMBERS OF THE
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: If you are an elected/appointed Delegate and
represent your Township in the County organization then your attendance
is requested for the purpose of voting on whether the "County office"
should be kept open or closed until next year. This is an important
issue because it involves "funding" and needs to be voted on by the
voting members of the Committee. All Voting Members will be
required to check in and receive a Name Badge. All members
are invited to attend and state their views, but ONLY the Voting
Members will be allowed to vote.

Township Democratic Organization 7:30 pm Our meeting
is in the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 S Eagle. That's south of
the river in downtown Naperville between Eagle Street on the west and
Water Street on the east. There is plenty of parking in the 2-level
garage attached to the municipal center. Naperville resident and
Park Addition Homeowners Association President Thom Higgins will
discuss his neighborhood's struggle to maintain Naperville's small
scale suburban lifestyle in the face of proposals to redevelop and
re-zone the residential area surrounding the 5th Avenue train
station. This is one of a number of recent development attempts
that, through zoning changes, threaten the character and fabric of
Naperville's neighborhoods. COULD YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD BE NEXT???
How can we work with elected officials to support resident's
interests? And we'll be starting to discuss a new outreach and
participation strategy called Neighborhood Coordinators. We'll
describe the idea and discuss some By-Laws changes we're considering to
allow us to put it in place. After the meeting, members and
guests will repair to a local Naperville establishment for refreshments
