Mr. Claps was raised in DuPage County and attended DuPage Democratic Club Meetings as a young man. This summer we have been working to fill all of our Precincts with Precinct Captains, the feet on the street that we need for when next year's campaign really comes around.    NTDO Monthly Meetings are held in the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 S Eagle. That's south of the river in downtown Naperville between Eagle Street on the west and Water Street on the east. There is plenty of parking in the 2-level garage attached to the municipal center.

April 8, 2008 (Tuesday) Townships in DuPage County  times vary - Each of the 9 townships in DuPage County hold an annual town meeting, where all township residents can vote.   The Downers Grove meeting will be 7:30pm at Ashton Place, 341 75th Street, Willowbrook. Map. In the last few years, there have been many votes on the Iraq war at these meetings.

Also, we will have special guest Lisle resident Gene Tenner and and two local Sudanese residents, Wilson Luol and John Enakal who will present the story of the Lost Boys of Sudan.

October 5, 2008 (Sunday) Illinois Victory 11:45 The Illinois Victory Campaign will be hosting a trial run for the most important election of recent memory.  We understand how important the voters in Winfield and Wayne township are in deciding this closely contested congressional race so we will be gathering at Easton Park in West Chicago so that we can canvass as much of the two townships as possible.  We will meet in the parking lot of Easton Park at 11:45 am and then canvass the surrounding neighborhoods, reminding voters to get out and vote for Bill and the other Democratic candidates in the area.  With only 30 days until the election the importance of getting out and knocking on doors is magnified.  The time to make a difference is now and you can do that by joining us and help Bill and the rest of the Democrats win this fall.
