Mr. Claps was raised in DuPage County and attended DuPage Democratic Club Meetings as a young man. Our meeting, which will start at 7:30 PM with a time for socializing and refreshment, will be held at the Lombard Commons, 433 E. St. Charles Road, Lombard. Presentations by our guest speakers will start promptly at 8 PM.

This summer we have been working to fill all of our Precincts with Precinct Captains, the feet on the street that we need for when next year's campaign really comes around.    NTDO Monthly Meetings are held in the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 S Eagle. That's south of the river in downtown Naperville between Eagle Street on the west and Water Street on the east. There is plenty of parking in the 2-level garage attached to the municipal center.

April 8, 2008 (Tuesday) Townships in DuPage County  times vary - Each of the 9 townships in DuPage County hold an annual town meeting, where all township residents can vote.   The Downers Grove meeting will be 7:30pm at Ashton Place, 341 75th Street, Willowbrook. Map. In the last few years, there have been many votes on the Iraq war at these meetings.

Also, we will have special guest Lisle resident Gene Tenner and and two local Sudanese residents, Wilson Luol and John Enakal who will present the story of the Lost Boys of Sudan.
