Message to ATDO from Bob Peickert
I wish to thank those who supported my candidacy as Chair of the DuPage County Democratic Party and that of Michelle Barton for 1st Vice-Chair. The county convention of March 5 was the largest gathering of DuPage Democratic leaders ever with 215 precinct committeemen and another 50 involved Democrats.
Our party is ready for the challenges that we will face in the next 8 months. Democrats are united as never before and ready to claim their rightful seat at the table with members of the Republican Party.
We can now be considered the majority party in DuPage County as a result of the huge primary turnout. Democrats must now put aside our intenral differences and rally together behind our very capable Democratic candidates.
I look forward to serving as your chair.
